The project COWINHY aims at providing the food industry the possibility of having only one European reference frame in the field of food safety. Then, SME will be able to affirm that they are certified at the European level for all their European customers and on the same basis as their concurrents, potentially abroad with the more frequent delocalizations.

Therefore the various successive objectives of COWINHY are:

  • To analyze the needs and the existing procedures to improve and not rebuild,
  • to take up ideas successful in certain countries to transfer them.
  • To define a methodology/a Community protocol of validation of GBPH (Guide Good Practices of Hygiene).
  • To define an organization of work to work out, evaluate and test the European guides.
  • To create tools for training on hygiene to promote the development of the European guides.
  • To propose a methodological European guide for wine in agreement with the professional organizations of each country partner and his associated tool for training.

With its practical case, this tool will be very useful to the trainers of continuous vocational training, anxious to remain close to the concrete concerns of the sector and the technological projections.

Thus, the final objective of the project is to create a training tool on the development of the Guide to Good Hygiene practice for Food Industry and especially at a European level.

It will be available in all the languages of the partners: Hungarian, Portuguese, French, German, English, Dutch.

Thanks to the participation of the Institutes, Research centers and Universities, the project will allow a transfer of knowledge on the good practices of hygiene, and on the technical innovations likely to concretize decisive choices within SME.
